OUR FOUNDER
Dr Hyeladzira Thahal is the Founder and Clinical Lead of Key Imaging, Abuja, bringing over two decades of experience from the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging in Nigeria.
​
She is a graduate of the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, and completed her early education in Lagos, Nigeria, where she attended Queen’s College, Yaba, before relocating to the United Kingdom to further her education.
​
Dr Thahal has served as a Consultant Radiologist for over 10 years, practising as a general radiologist with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging and image-guided intervention. Her career has been distinguished not only by clinical excellence, but also by significant leadership and educational roles, including:

In her role as Radiology Clinical Lead for the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System in the Southwest of England, Dr Thahal played a key role in the development and implementation of Community Diagnostic Centres, helping to expand access to timely, high-quality imaging services.

She brings to Key Imaging a wealth of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to education and service excellence—combining international standards with a strong understanding of local healthcare needs.
